Power Of Prayer

Dear Reader,

Hello to you.

I would like to share a personal expirence with you.

I have been sick for over two weeks with high fevers-104, severe pain all over my body, thrush in my mouth and throat.  

This past Saturday, I went to the doctor and test were done and medication given to me.
Later that day my family and I went to a cookout at my nephew's.

While I was there my sister-in-law asked if she could say prayer with me for healing and I said yes.  

Just before we left, she, my brother, husband and me were at the table and a prayer for healing was spoken.  My husband held my hand and my brother and his wife placed their hands upon my shoulders and back.  As their words were spoken I began to feel a warmth and tingling where their hands were placed.  A feeling of peace and goodness fell upon me.  The pain I was feeling lessened and my fever hasn't been over 99.4 sense then.

This morning, the doctor's office called back and said that all my tests came back fine.  The only thing found was that my platelettes are low.  This can be because of the virus that is going through my body.  Still don't know what it is, but, I know I will be ok.

I do believe that because of prayer for healing spoken over me has taken hold of my body and it is being healed by the power of GOD, our Heavenly Father.  

My healing was not in an instance, but is still healing.  I do not question the time not when my body will be completely healed.  I just know that it will be.  I still have pain, get tired easily, and still run small fevers.  

I know there is a reason behind this process, I don't know right now what it is, but I will walk through this with GOD'S direction and wait upon his time.  When the reason for this journey has run its course and GOD has completed his work, this will be taken from me.

Believe me, within prayer, healing can be found.  It may not be quickly, it may take time.  Do not lose faith in GOD'S Mercy and LOVE.  I feel that if faith is lost, healing is lost.  

Satan will throw everything he can in your path to make you give up or not believe.  When this happens and you feel that nothing is happening, things getting worse, rebuke him, command him to be gone from you in the name of JESUS, LORD, GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER.  If you do this in pure heart and complete faith, satan cannot touch you.

When you pray or someone prays for your healing, have a pure heart and trust in GOD that he will do what is best for you.  Believe fully in HIS love, mercy and grace and HIS will be done.


A prayer for you from me.

Dear Heavenly Father,

I come to you in prayer this morning to ask you to spread your love, grace and mercy upon all who need you.
I pray dear Lord that you will guide us through this day with love, wisdom, kindness, and patience.
Dear LORD, I pray for good health, happiness and hope for everyone.
I pray dear Lord for the lost souls, may they find the light that shines upon them.  May they feel the love and warmth that they may have lost.  May their hearts, eyes and ears be opened to you.
Dear LORD, I pray for the ones that has fallen from the path of righteousness and strayed from your guidance.  May they find their feet back upon the right path and walking once again with you.
I pray for all the children of yours, Christians, may the always remain strong in within your love.  May they be a light to others who are lost within darkness. May they help the weak, homeless, hungry.  
Dear LORD, let us all know that we are worthy of your love and mercy.  Wrap us in your spirit and let us expirence that awesome feeling of your presence.
