A Prayer Spoken

Dear Heavenly Father,
I come to you this day in prayer.
I give you praise and glory and honor for your love and mercy that you so richly and freely give to us.
Lord, I ask you for forgiveness for our sins.
Please help us Lord to live each day of life with the love, kindness, understanding, patience and respect for one another.  
Help us Lord to keep our feet on the straight and narrow path.  
Give us the courage Lord to battle the evil that is constantly trying to seperate us from you.
Lord, I pray for the sick.  Heal them Lord from what make them ill.  
Lord, I pray for the lost souls.  May their eyes, ears and hearts be opened to your love and mercy.  May they turn from the evil and confess their sins and become your child.
I pray too, Lord, for the ones who confessed their sins and lost their footing and turned away from you.  Lord may they be blessed with another chance and welcomed back into your fold.  May your mercy be given to them.
Lord, I pray for your children.  May they be blessed by your grace and spirit.  May they always be a light for all others who are in the darkness.
Lord, may your blessing fall upon those who are less fortunate than I.  May the homeless find shelter.  May the hungry have food to fill their stomaches.  May the jobless find work.
Lord, there is so much destruction in the storms we have weathered.  So many have lost so much, some all that they had.  Lives have been taken, bodies bruised and broken.  Please dear LORD, help us all to heal.
Lord there are many families who have lost loved one, please dear LORD, help through this painful and sad time.  Let family and friends come to their aide and help them heal.
Lord I ask all these things in Jesus our Heavenly Savior, your precious son's name.
